Adopt: Our stars

Comcast ON DEMAND subscribers now can view Humane Society of Pulaski County adoptable animals whenever they like. Every month, Comcast airs as many as 30 animal profiles, featuring the animal's name, tag number, history, temperament and contact information. From the ON DEMAND menu, select “Get Local” and then “Pet Adoptions”.

Also included are details about our shelter services, such as training programs and medical care.

Since the debut of such features in other areas, 80 percent of featured animals have been adopted.

In an interview with Arkansas Online, our media spokesperson Jill Martin said “The Humane Society of Pulaski County (HSPC) is thrilled to have been chosen to participate in Comcast's Pet Adoptions ON DEMAND. The HSPC has rescued over 80,000 animals in our 60-year history. Our kennels are usually at full capacity and we urgently need to find good homes.”
