Reigning Cats and Dogs will be November 15, and the kick-off meeting will be Tuesday, July 8 at 6:30 at the Oyster Bar. This will be for people who are interested in promoting the event and obtaining items and sponsorships. There will be a meeting in the fall for the folks who help at the actual event . If you are
interested in helping, contact Debbie Howell at nicsmom5@aristotle. net or
on her cell at 454-4865.
Volunteers remember, please, to pick up poop in the Dog Park when you have dogs out. And no more
than three dogs at a time, per volunteer.AND. ..instead of taking a few favorites out for a long
time, consider taking several different ones for 15 minutes at a time. That way many more can get
some exercise and fun. In the hot weather, they won't even mind a shorter play period!
**If you would like to learn a new skill and help our dogs get adopted, sign up for our
Dog Training Classes, by contacting Phyllis at Phyllisnewt@ hotmail.com These four-week courses
teach our dogs the basics of canine "good citizenship" , make them ore adoptable, and the dogs and
trainers have a lot of fun; contact Phyllis if you would like to be part of it!
