NEWS AND EVENTS

HSPC Week, 2 October 2006

You probably saw on the news that Kay busted a Puppy Mill, and we took in 50 small dogs. They are not yet ready for adoption, and we have over 70 applications already. If you know someone who wants one of these Yorkies or Bostons, they need to come to the shelter and fill out an application, and approved adopters will be notified when they are ready. They still need to be legally surrendered, and need veterinary attention before they can be adopted... Donations to help with their care and vet bills will be very much appreciated.

We still need a few volunteers for Reigning Cats and Dogs, October 21. It is getting close So far we have:

Saturday Set up: Hayden, Mary Stephens, Heather McCutcheon, Joe Longinotti, Amanda Carter, Jerod Ohman, Hannah Lopez, Amanda Carter, Jack & Christine Henderson Nancy Thaden, Toby Fair, Melinda Ward (Definitely need more here- no training necessary)

**If you no longer wish to receive these newsletters each week, let me know, and I will remove you from the list. Also, they sometimes are marked spam because I send so many at once.

** Adoptions: Grizzley; Doobie; Robbie; Ginger; Sanari; Paula; Foxy. Please encourage people you know to give a shelter animal a chance, or consider fostering an animal for a while. We have had a lot of adoptions of animals in foster care.
