this could be a good opportunity for adoptions, so please consider going...let me know... **Birthday parties! 3/16...Hayden and Laura are helping. There will be two parties on the 16th!-- one at 1PM and one at 3:30, with some overlap (they're friends!)

**April 18/19 is Earth Day, and the Zoo has again invited us to set up with handouts and adoptables. We haven't done it for the past two years, but it would be nice to participate again. The dogs we take always enjoy it . We'd love to have at least 8 people on Saturday, and will be happy for as many as we can get on Friday!! We plan to have a book showing all of our adoptables, a poster for Special Friends Sponsorships, and lots of adoptables in person (or "in dog?")

**April 26, "Craws for the Paws" fundraiser at RiverMarket west pavilion. Craw fish, beer, live music, fun...this is not an HSPC event, but one that should be fun, and will benefit us. We can take adoptables. For more info click on....http://www.CrawsForPaws.com.

We have some really nice HSPC merchandise available, some say "volunteer", some not. Go to our our website, click on New Merchandise and check it all out. Shirts, totes, bibs, license plate frames, dog outfits, hats...some with our logo, some with beautiful designs by Little Rock Artist Les Waite

Check our website for information on buying a page, or sponsorshop, of the 2009 DayPlanner. We are already selling pages, so don't wait too long...last year we had to turn away people, or the book would be too thick!!

Also new on our website is information on the 2008 Children's Be Kind to Animals Art Contest. If you have a school age child--K-12, or are a teacher, consider taking part in this fun activity.
