And, same time, same place--June 5, at Trinity Trinity is having a Big Yard Sale, and has offered us a space. However, Ann will be out of town, and no one has offered to pick up the materials from her and take them to the sale. They will need to be picked up today. If you can do this, let me know; otherwise, well have to pass on this.

Classical Indian Dancer Saturday, June 5 is the Dance for the Animals, a concert of classical Indian Dance!

Proceeds will benefit HSPC and a similar shelter in India, Jeev Raksha. Check the website www.danceforanimals.org. This should be a wonderful cultural experience. Call 666-1167 or email info@danceforanimals.org.

We will need a few volunteers to sell tickets at the door, and usher. Anyone interested? Its at the beautiful new recital hall at Philander Smith College, and starts at 7. Or just come and see the show. Tell your friends!

Our first Travs game is June 9. We usually have three dog escorts. Jennifer and John will be taking a dog or two. Melissa has offered, and also Robin, so I think we are good for this one. Next one is August 13.

***New eventthe Science Fiction Convention Rok-Kon has chosen HSPC as their charity of the year. And they have invited us to set up a booth, with merchandise, and adoptables. This is at the State House Convention Center June 11, 12, 13. We need a few people each day. This should be a fun event, especially for Sc-Fi fans. This might be something your kids would want to do with you.

Saturday June 12Dog Wash in North Little Rock. First United Methodist Church, 6501 JFK. Richard and Melanie need lots of help. Contact Richard at : Richard.a.morgan@alltel.com, and let me know, too.

Wednesday June 23Underground Pub. 5-9PM. Admission of $5, a percentage of sales, and proceeds from various promotions go to HSPC. Good music, food, drinks available. Bring your friends down to have fun and help HSPC!!! We made a lot of money at this last year, and a lot of HSPC folks got together and had a great evening! Lets do even better this year!

Reigning Cats and DogsRescheduled for October 16. Let me know if you want to help--either at the event, or soliciting auction items and/or sponsorships.

You might have seen on TV Friday, that Kay Jordan rescued four horses2 mares and 2 coltsfrom a very bad situation. She has them in foster care, but could really use donations of hay, feed, a big watering tub, and two small halters. (We already received a donation of two regular-size halters). You can charge feed at the feed store for them. Either call the shelter-227-6166 if you want to help, or let me know if you have something that needs to be picked up and delivered, as someone has volunteered to do that. A court case is pending on these horses.

We still have some Kroger cards to sell--and we want to order more. If you know anyone who wants one, let me know. And remind everyone to use them!! They don't help us if they aren't used! We get our first check once the total purchases of everyone who has an HSPC card reaches $5000. I'll let you know when that happens, and it should be soon. And I'll let you know in a year how much it brings us. We have high hopes! ANDI have been asked if you can use them over and overand you canyou can refill them with money and keep using them foreveror at least until Kroger turns it off!

Puppy Don't forget our Puppy Love program; lots of places would love to have us visit. If you are interested in getting started, contact Patty Jorwall at: pjorwall@swbell.net
