HSPC Week 8/23/04
Emergency can anyone bottle feed any of six little puppies whose mom just got hit by a car? Dont want to take them into the shelter, we have too many sick pups right now, and these are so vulnerable. If you can, call Kay227-6166, and let me know. We will provide all supplies, vet care, etc, and will take them in when they are adoptable.

ellischris@uams.edu.
Aldersgate has asked us to extend our Puppy Club visits throughout the yearon weekends. Ann has a wonderful program she has set up with them, and will need occasional help. If you are interested in helping on a weekend or two, let me know and I will put you in touch.
Our Puppy Love program, (taking puppies to visit folks in nursing homes, shelters, etc) needs more volunteers. Please contact Patty at
pjorwall@swbell.net for more information.
Pizza Hut - Starting July 5, Pizza Hut will again donate 20% of sales on Monday 5-8PM to HSPC. Think of Monday as Pizza Night! This is any Pizza Hut in Pulaski County, and includes delivery!
Igive -
Another easy way to help HSPC! An organization called
iGive.com.
If you sign up with them, and specify HSPC as your preferred charity, whenever you shop online at any of about 500 merchants, a percentage of your purchase goes automatically to HSPC. All you have to do is sign up. Then, at any time when you are online shopping, if you go to a participating merchant, like, say Lands End, EBAY, or Barnes and Noble, a little note will pop up and tell you what percentage is being donated. There is also a list available of merchants, so you can choose to use the ones involved. This is a great way to help HSPC, especially if you do a lot of on-line shopping!
Donations - The shelter could also use donations of the following: tools; a weed eater, and a vehicle
Also, we need a PC computer with Windows 2000.

Remember to USE YOUR KROGER GIFT CARDS!! They dont help if we dont use them! And we get 5% of all purchase if you do use them.
All day, every day - help is needed walking, bathing, playing with the dogs and cats of HSPC. The more time you spend with them, the more adoptable they become. You dont need to schedule a timeif you have some time available, just come on down. Were open 11-6 every day, and until 8PM Mondays and Fridays.
Adopti
ons: Odie (the sewer pipe pup!), Zane, Nelson, PJ, Murdoch, Kelvin, Honey Green, Jetta Taylor, Mitchell and lots of kittens and puppies.
