**** NOTE CHANGED LOCATION **** There will be a kick-off meeting for Reigning Cats and Dogs on Monday, June 20, at 6PM, Laurel's home. If you are interested in helping plan this event, and/or soliciting sponsorships and auction items, this is the time to sign on, so make a note of the date. If you want to help at the event itself, we will be asking for that help later on., and you don't need to attend this meeting. If you need directions, contact Debbie Howell at nicsmom5@aristotle.net

Pizza Hut is again going to help HSPC. From July 4 to Sept 26, we will get 20% of sales on Monday nights from 5-9. However, this year, a voucher needs to be turned in when the pizza is ordered ( or picked up). You can download them from our website shortly, or pick up some at the shelter, the Mall store, or a dog wash.

EARS Cancelled - The Emergency Animal Rescue Service (EARS) has cancelled their training session in Little Rock.

Kroger Cards - We just got 50 more Kroger cards; they are at the shelter, and some will be at the store, if you know any one who wants one.

Lawn Care - We could use some help with lawn care. We lost the underwriter for the lawn service, so we need to do it ourselves, probably every two weeks. Perhaps a few people could work out a rotating schedule.Call Kay at the shelter to set up a schedule. Katy has donated a lawn mower.

Puppy Love - We still need more volunteers for Puppy Love. Christina would like to schedule more visits. This is something you can do with your kids! You can contact Christina for more information at: ramseyresources@aol.com Her phone # is 766-6662.

Foster Homes - We are still looking for some short-term fosters for some of our animals that would benefit from time away from the shelter (who wouldnt). Some time spent in a loving home might increase confidence and social skills, and make them more adoptable. If you are interested, or have any questions, let me know.

Adoptions: Florence; Hugs; Roseanna Danna; Pokey; Jenny (pup); Louanne (cat); All of Marijeans puppies; and lots of puppies and kittens.

New Volunteers: Katie and Chris Stone

Next volunteer orientation: July 11, 6:30 PM at the shelter

Upcoming Events:

June 25-- NLR Dog Wash
