HSPC Merchandise: Our University Mall Store
Our new store at University Mall is now open on Saturdays from 10am - 5pm, and has special hours during holidays. It's next to MM Cohn on the Main Level.

Besides our adorable cats, dogs, kittens and puppies, we have great animal-oriented merchandise: artwork, leashes, collars, bowls, t-shirts.

We need volunteers to help get the dogs and cats ready to be shown, transported to the store, and shown to prospective adopters. Also, please contact us if you can help with merchandise sales.

If this is something you'd like to do, or if you want more information, contact our volunteer coordinator, Nancy Thaden, at 224-7859, or e-mail info@warmhearts.org

Stop in to say hello, and check out all the great stuff for your "animal companion".

The cost for the course is $50 per person and students will be responsible for obtaining thier own manuals from Delta Society; evaluations are $15.00 per animal team.

Puppy Love Program
HSPC Volunteers will visit nursing homes and rehabilitation facilities with the HSPC Puppy Love program, taking puppies to those in long-term care facilities, to add a little sparkle to their days.

Companion Dog Training Classes
Companion dog training classes are offered for the public and for the HSPC shelter dogs, taught by the great volunteers from the Little Rock Dog Training Club.

Childrens Birthday Parties and Scout Events
HSPC Volunteers offer children's birthday parties and scout groups in the HSPC education area on Saturdays and Sundays, as well as weekday presentations at the public schools through the Humane Education progam.

Every day:
Help is needed at the shelter--walk dogs, clean, bathe, play with animals. The animals really appreciate it. This is really important to keep the animals from getting bored and cage crazy. Any time you can spend with them just makes them so much more adoptable. Some people have chosen a few to work with each time they come, and that means so much to them. Remember, HSPC is open 7 days a week, and Monday and Friday evenings.
